Well an accident I had in 2010 is coming back to haunt me... At the moment it would seem the non-union bone in my wrist has come afloat causing a bit of damage. I've gone from 0 pain to constant agony in my wrist, I've had to learn to pour the kettle and open beers with my left hand..... I've been up today and I can still start my H1 but I cant pull or push it around due to the weight of the set. It's small for a genset but weighty. I am gutted really as it does make me smile when it fires up, it just needs a good load on it to keep it steady. If you've not seen my other thread this engine was the last of a run of 15 engines so not a common engine at all! As you see the quote bellow I would ideally like a Petter M series 1, but unlikely to get a swap.... might consider other engines on the smaller/more manageable side of life. I have an idea of how much I would want to sell it but don't want to put it up for sale as of yet.... Anyways... thats where I am at the minute, gutted to have to think about it but I can't risk any further damage to my wrist, especially if I want to keep using my storage..... I would love to be able to afford to donate it to the museum being an unusual part of Stuart Turner's History, sadly I don't have that sort of disposable income. Cheers, Steve, 30 and in the knackers yard.
